Step 1: POL Attachment
POL includes two kinds of materials, shiny screen and sand screen. There is viewing angle on polarizer.
Step 2: Eleminate Air
The temperature of anti-foaming is about 50,Air pressure is about 60KG.it will takes 30-40 minutes. All these parameters will be determined by Pol demand.
Step 3: ITO checking
Put the ITO part on 5X microscope to check whether there is dirty dot.If so,wipe it away by dust-free cloth.
Step 4: COG ACF attach
Pre-job
- Before the work, check the ACF whether applicable.
- Confirm whether this LCD display has been cleaned.
- Whether the incoming material is conform to the spec.
Post job(check items and indicators )
- Check whether the ACF is misaligned.
- And check whether the attached ACF have air bubbles.
- Check whether the ITO has cracks.
- Temperature: 90 plus or minus
- 5 Time: 0.3 to 3 seconds
Note: We should make decisions in accordance with specific Conditions.Especially we should consider the effect of ACF attached According to the characteristics of ACF to determine pressure and attached with temperature requirements.
Operating details:

- Put this blister tray filled with wipe clean the lcd places neatly on the left hand side of the workbench.
- Right hand take the LCD to work platform, to make the LCD close the batter board.
- After confirm the position of LCD is right, press the vacuum key, to make glass can be adsorbed. And then right hand start the green [Start] key, to make the pressure head move down for attached the ACF. The pressure head and platform will be automatic reset after this step.
- After completing the ACF attached, we need to confirm the effect of LCD. (Whether this ACF has been attached to the right position? And if there are have air bubbles, dirty, foreign matters, etc. ) At the same time, we will inform the monitor and technician for first check, the worker can operation after getting the two sides confirmation.
- Taking LCD which the ACF has been attached to the right position put in the right hand side of the worktable Anti-static pans.(Pls note: Bonding side of LCD need to adown.)
Note:
- Wear electrostatic ring.
- Finger cots have no dirty or damaged, two hours need to replace a time. There is any breakage and dirty in the process of operation must be replaced immediately.
- Products must be handled with care when operating, in order to avoid damage to the LCD
- LCD wipe and attached must be simultaneously, one worker wipes LCD, another one attached, do not pile up. And after attaching, the side of with ACF must be downward, prevent the foreign bodies fall on the ACF.
- Operating must have equipment and tools can eliminate static electricity, and these tools or equipment are on normal working condition. (For the human body or product which can be touched area.)
- If ACF blacken, uneven color or ACF liquefaction must stop using, and inform the engineer or shift supervisor to deal with.
Processing method: If there are any abnormal inform technology, monitor, etc. responsible for personnel handling the case.
Step 5: IC prebond
Pre-job
- Check the ACF attached situation
- Material specifications
- Check the quality of LCD
The details of pre-job
- Check whether the ACF attached to the right position.
- Check if the ACF bonding area have air bubbles.
- Checking if the LCD have any dirty point.
The details of Post job(check items and indicators )
- Check if the ITO have crack.
- Temperature: 60 plus or minus 10 degree
- Pressure: 0.5 MPa/C m2 plus or minus 0.2
- Time: 0.5 second plus or minus 0.2 second
- The specific situation needs according to the pressure of ACF.
Operating details:
- Check the machine pressure, time and temperature parameters. (Confirmed by the engineer and technician)
- Put the IC plate on the IC tray of machine.
- Put this anti-static plate filled with attached ACF LCD places on the left hand side of the workbench.
- Check the related program and the corresponding parameters are correct, and make a record by technician.
- To confirm whether the IC of IC plate has been placed to the correct position (see image)
- Then take the LCD has been attached the ACF place to the positioning plate of the platform, to make the position fixed. And then press the vacuum key to absorb it.
- Both hands press “start”key to make the machine automatic registration, began preloading after shows OK.
- Finished the preloading, platform will automatically quit, removes the preloaded COG, and check if the COG have short glue phenomenon, without abnormalities put the COG to the corresponding anti-static plate.
- If discover any abnormal, shall immediately press the right hand side of the red stop button.
- Right-handed rotation the scram button to cancel the alarm, machine should be reset then operate.
- No abnormal phenomenon, repeat six to eight steps, then to continue to operate.
Note:
- Wear electrostatic ring
- 2 finger cots have no dirty or damaged(2 hours need to replace a time), There is any breakage and dirty in the process of operation must be replaced immediately.
- Check if the IC model is consistent with order form.
- After doing the first inspection, then continue to operate. After both parties confirm the parameters and record it in the tally sheet of the machine.
- The mantissa of IC should be full inspection, and then can be on the line.
- Has been bonding LCD have to places neatly on the anti-static plate.
- Each finished a plate of IC; need to clean platform suction nozzle and mould. (By alcohol, air-laid paper and cotton swabs)
- Before going off duty, worker needs to clean the drilling crew by pneumatic gun, supervised by monitor and technician every day.
